Middle School Life at Mazel

     Dear Parents,

As part of the ever-present goal to make the Mazel School Experience better and better, I have undertaken several projects this year to aid our middle-schoolers in attaining and maintaining a positive voice and presence!
First, is the implementation of the Student Government Association, or as the SGA as it is lovingly known. The SGA's task is
 *          to provide a structure in which students can express their ideas and opinions
·           to plan and direct student activities
·         to brainstorm ideas on school-related issues.
·         to help promote and improve school spirit and morale among students and teachers
·         to teach students citizenship rights, responsibilities and skills.
Second, we have also launched, with the help of the talented social studies teacher, Mrs. Raskin, the Voice of Mazel Students, the Mazel Times newspaper. The paper is to be published approximately 5-6 times per school year, or once every seven weeks.

In a separate post, please find your child and his/her position in the SGA and Mazel Times. Below are pictures of the SGA/Mazel Times inauguration from September 17th, 2014. Stay tuned for updates!
