Hello All,
As you may have heard, we had an amazing time on our Shabbaton in Staten Island last week! We started with Sushi lunch in Brooklyn and bowling in Staten Island. Shabbos was off to a great start as the boys ate out with the wonderful families in our community. It was followed by an incredible Oneg (all the boys responded positively in the survey), with a special story-teller Rabbi Y.Greenfield, delicious snacks, words of inspiration and song.
The next day, the boys enjoyed a packed schedule: breakfast, davening, a Torah Class with Mr. Berlin, lunch at Mr. Berlin's house, downtime to play backgammon, as well as a delicious Shalosh Seudos meal. Before Shabbos was over, the boys had the honor to meet Rav Reuven Feinstein, head of the Staten Island Yeshivah, who gave them blessings and shared thoughts on life.
The Shabbaton concluded with a game of basketball Saturday night, followed by Pizza and an Kumzits (Guitar and Lights) Concert with our very own Rabbi Warsh. A special thanks to Rabbi Warsh for taking the boys home.
